Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in your community as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)? The Peak College PSW Scholarship Grant is your chance to gain a quality education without the financial burden.

We’re offering 3 full-tuition scholarships and 2 partial tuition scholarships to help passionate individuals start or restart their careers in healthcare.

What’s Included?

Who Should Apply?

We welcome applications from individuals who are:
● Canadian citizens or permanent residents (including newcomers and refugees)
● Facing financial need
● Individuals who show a strong commitment to working in healthcare
● Women re-entering the workforce
● Unpaid family caregivers
● Mature students and career changers
● Youth from low-income households
● Indigenous students

Full Scholarship ($3,800 value):

● Full tuition for the PSW program
● Required books
● Uniform and Bag
● One attempt at the final exam

Partial Scholarship ($1,000 value):

● Applied directly toward PSW tuition (no cash value)

How to Apply

Submit the following documents:
● Completed Scholarship Application Form below
● Complete the Personal Statement section in the form (300–500 words on why you want to become a PSW)
● After completing the form you’ll receive a confirmation email with more instructions. Please reply to that email and include the following:

Reference Letter (from a teacher, employer, or community leader) duly signed with contact information (referee’s full name, phone number and email address).
Proof of Income (e.g., pay stub, T4, benefit statement)
Proof of Citizenship, Residency, or Refugee Status (e.g., passport, PR card)

Important Notice About Your Personal Statement

Your personal statement must be original work written by you. Submissions created or heavily assisted by external tools—including AI platforms such as ChatGPT, CoPilot, or similar—are not allowed.

Why it matters: This is your chance to share your real voice, motivations, and story. Authenticity is a key part of the selection process.

Plagiarism or AI-generated content will result in immediate disqualification. Statements will be reviewed for originality and may be verified during the interview process.

Important Dates for 2025

  • Deadline to Apply and Submit all valid documents: November 1, 2025*
  • Winners Notified: December 2, 2025
  • Scholarships Awarded: January 7, 2026

*Any applications received after November 1, 2025 will be valid for the next PSW Scholarship Grant (to be determined).
